The Art of Joy

Joy is not a fleeting thing,
A spark that fades like ember’s sting.
It lives within, a steady glow,
A river’s course in tranquil flow.
Not just a laugh, a passing sigh,
But in the sunlight, low and high.
In whispered winds and ocean’s call,
In moments shared, both big and small.
It blooms when hearts are open wide,
When love and kindness walk beside.
When gratitude in silent grace,
Brings warmth to time’s unhurried pace.
The present moment—soft yet strong,
A melody, a sacred song.
For joy is not a thing we chase,
But what we find in love’s embrace.
