The Deepest Imprint
Not in gold nor jewels so bright,
Do we find our truest light.
Not in the treasures we amass,
But in the hearts our kindness grasps.
Life’s riches are not bought or sold,
Not bound by silver, nor weighed by gold.
They live in laughter, tears, and grace,
In every hug, in every embrace.
Moments shared, both joy and pain,
Are the threads that weave love’s chain.
A simple smile, a gentle hand,
Builds a legacy that will withstand.
For when the years have softly flown,
And earthly treasures are overthrown,
It’s not the wealth, but love’s bright flame,
That carves within us an eternal name.
So cherish bonds, let love unfold,
For its warmth is worth more than gold.
In life’s last breath, we’ll come to see,
Connection is our true legacy.
