The Winner Within

Not all must finish first to win,
Nor wear a crown or boastful grin.
For deep within, the truth does lie—
The power to stand, to reach, to try.
We rise from places dark and low,
We bloom through storms, we stretch and grow.
It’s not the speed or place we end,
But how we mend, and how we bend.
Each step we take, though slow or wide,
Is proof of strength we hold inside.
For winning’s not the final place—
It’s grit, it’s heart, it’s inner grace.
So run your race at your own pace,
Embrace your path, your time, your space.
For you, dear soul, were born to show—
That rising up is how we glow.
